Can You please get your total number of acres burned straight. Your figures are all over the place and they don't all add up correctly. Thank you.

Yes, 198,000. Sorry about the typo. It has been fixed.

Karen, Do you have any resource to know if Poomacha fire is spreading out toward to Pechanga area?
We are in Pechanga area/Red Hawk in Temecula. We have been very scary to watch all the smoky smell keep getting worst and covered our area.

Notice they have addresses of all the homes destroyed in the north county. The media wrote down all the addresses. But no one bothers to help the residence of DeerHorn valley in the east county. This is the first time I've even seen a number of houses destroyed. who counted them??

I heard there was talk of closing the 15 again due to the Rice Fire. Does anyone have any info on that? Or how far North the fire has burned today?

Most of the fires started last weekend - from about 10/20 to 10/22

The SDCounty Emergency webpage has the start dates, so do several other locations

Can anyone tell me how to get the list of injured firefighters from the Witch Creek Fire? Our son is a firefighter at that fire and we have no contact with him. We are worried and concerned about their safety. If anyone has any info on where we can find the list of injured firefighters plesae email us at free2334@aol.com asap. Our prayers go out to ALL fire victims and BLESS our firefighters for putting their lives on the line and saving what homes of yours they can. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
